Volvo Gigafactory Košice
So I thought I was completely wrong when I prepared a lecture at a conference in Jihlava on the topic: Heat treatment of large dies for the GIGA factory in TAV Vacuum Furnaces. Meanwhile, the VW project in Pilsen evaporated, and only the memory of the fight for the airport in Líně near Pilsen remained. I still have a few friends who were there in the military service…
But today on the Nadca Newsletter I saw the news that the Italian IDRA Group will deliver two giga presses for 9,000 tons of closing force to the new Volvo plant in Košice. Well, that’s really good news, maybe it will be useful to someone that I’m already thinking about it today.
