I represent two large companies engaged in the production of vacuum furnaces. TAV Vacuum Furnaces and ECM Technologies.
In terms of after-sales services, TAV has a subsidiary company, TAV Engineering, https://www.tav-engineering.com/en. This symbiosis is very important for everyone who buys TAV furnaces today. After all, it is obvious that the time of purchase of a new device is calculated for a period of one year, but the device is used for a period of 20 years or more. The significance of these after-sales services is therefore a very important part of the business strategy. After all, it is not about satisfying the customer by selling the equipment, but above all about the ability to keep the furnace in operation for those 20 years.
ECM provided after-sales services directly from its plant in Grenoble, however last week it was announced the acquisition of IOS (Industrie Ofen Service, https://www.ios-gmbh.online/eng/) from Germany, which deals with these post- sales services. The owners of ECM, Mr. Laurent and Marlene Pellisier, have taken a big step forward, although for the time being only targeted at the German market, to improve the after-sales service for ECM devices. Big congratulations. There is certainly a potential for use in the Czech and Slovak Republics as well.
