I got an opportunity from Galvamet to participate, so I took it. When Harold Ipsen founded this company long ago, in 1948, he had no idea that he was beginning to determine the future of heat treatment for the next 75 years. And that future is basically still not over.
Wherever you look, these furnaces are installed, and often serve for more than 50 years. This is how the reaction in the hall looked when asked who has furnaces older than 30 years.
The whole event was a pleasant meeting with familiar and unknown faces, even the cosmonaut André Kuipers. Here is our photo together, including a familiar face from Pardubice.
What more can be said about it? Ipsen transferred a large part of its operations to the US and India. Here in Kleve, only the furnaces still invented by the founder Harold Ipsen remain. Unfortunately, the whole meeting was filled with political declarations about no gas from Russia and no uranium from Russia. Impacts are as shown at the gas pump when refueling. A liter of gasoline 95 for almost 60 CZK. But I will try to write more about that next time. I still have to sort it out in my head
Even so, it was a great event and I have to thank the Galvamet company and Aleš Šlechta for the fact that I could represent it there.
So, under the slogan MEET THE HEAT yours
Jiří Stanislav
