In this introduction you will learn about the Nadca 207 specification prepared by the Nord American Die Casting Association for die casters, for material suppliers, for heat treaters or for certified testing laboratories in order to achieve the best possible tool life of die casting dies.
This is a comprehensive system of recommendations, compliance with which is not mandatory, however, by accepting these conditions, the quality of tools can be significantly improved, as well the disputes on damages between steel suppliers, the tool maker or the die casting foundry can be resolved. The course also shows a connection to the CQI-27, Special process: Casting System Assesment.
The course also includes a test of acquired knowledge and a printed certificate of completion including a score with test results.
