New course on Sales Order Receiving

At the conference in Jihlava, Pavel Stolař and I disagreed on whether the new standard ISO 20431:2023 is good or bad. The problem was that, from his point of view, the part of the standard devoted to the Contract review is not very detailed.

Probably yes, but those involved in quality management systems for the automotive or aerospace industries know well what this means. And because I personally spent the last 5 years of my professional life at Bodycote in the ERP team, dealing with these facts, what is hidden behind the term Contract review was immediately clear to me and not so much to Pavel.

Receiving of the sales order and the transfer of risks to the customer is a daily part of the life of a heat treatment operation. And that’s exactly what my new course called Sales order Receiving is about. For sales order reception staff, this is perhaps the world’s first comprehensive overview of what on reception should be investigating, and why. So hopefully it will be useful in the life of Heat Treaters.
